PARADE DAY SET TIMES!

This Saturday, March 13 th , in Scranton , PA is one of the biggest St. Patty's Day Parades in the whole country. We'll be on the top floor of the Hardware Bar, rotating our sets with 2 other bands. The sets are scattered throughout the day, so get there early (you most likely already are) and stay late (why wouldn't you?)! Here are the set times:

Set 1 = 11:00am-12:00noon
Set 2 = 5:00pm-6:00pm
Set 3 = 8:30pm-9:30pm

CALENDAR UPDATES 2/16/10

•  We are definitely playing at Finnigan's Wake on Friday, March 12th . This show was previously listed as tentative, and although it was confirmed some time ago, I forgot to take down the word “tentative”. My bad! In any case, a lot of people have been asking us when we're going to play in the actual city of Philadelphia , so here's your chance!

•  Saturday, March 13th is Parade Day in Scranton . We just wanted to point that out in case some people didn't realize. It's one of the biggest St. Patty's Day celebrations in the whole country, and we'll be partying it up at the Scranton Hardware Bar (formerly Tink's). We don't know our set times yet, but we'll let you know as soon as we find out.

Journal Entry--January 17, 2010

Hello everyone,

Well, the new year is here and we are now officially on vacation!  While Paul's gonna enjoy sometime at Disney and Justin's going out to Phoenix, the rest of us will remain somewhat local and just enjoy a short break from planet DDS.  I'm thinking about shipping up to Boston for a few days of sightseeing myself...not sure exactly what John, Scott or Ducky have going on.  At any rate, we just wrapped up a really great weekend at Rookies, one of our absolute favorite places to play.  For those that missed the shows, we finally took the wraps off "Paradise By The Dashboard Light" and were pleased to see a very favorable response to these first few performances.  No major trainwrecks, either, if you can imagine that!  In fact, I don't really recall anybody making any really noticeable mistakes...pretty impressive when you think of how complicated that song is to pull off in its entirety!

OK, so some news of note.  For our NEPA friends, we are confirmed for all upcoming Tink's dates, including February 6th and March 13th (Parade Day).  Tink's is now a part of the Hardware Bar chain and we're hoping to see EVERYBODY out at our first show on February 6th.  We'd really like to make an amazing impression in front of the new owners to ensure that we can continue to come back to this great club for many, many years.  Parade Day will be absolutely crazy--of course we know all about that--and we'll have exact set times posted within a few weeks detailing a full day with the band...should be a great time!

We've got a pretty varied schedule over the next few months which will see us hitting pretty much everywhere ...from Hartford to White Plains to Baltimore/DC to Long Island to Scranton to Philly (downtown and the 'burbs!), we're gonna log some serious miles over the next few months.  I guess it's good that we got a vacation in now!  We sincerely hope to see as many of our friends and fans as possible, so be sure to come out to a show and say "hello".  Also, more shows are discussed daily , so be sure to check our website calendar often for updates and any changes that may come up.  Be seeing you....
